Primary Skill set
  • Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP).
  • Bridging and switching concepts, LAN technologies such as Ethernet, Gigaethernet
  • Knowledge on VLANS, Tagging - IEEE 802.1q, 802.3ad, 802.1d,802.1w.
  • IP addressing and sub netting, Routing concepts, VLSM/CIDR.
  • Knowledge on Firewalls and End Point Security Systems.
Secondary Specialization

  • Good knowledge on MS infrastructure technologies like DNS, DHCP, WINS,Active Directory. Hands on experience working on RADIUS, TACAS, and 802.1x based authntication systems.
  • Working knowledge on managing Citrix Xenapp Infrastructure.
  • Good understanding on different 802.1x Flavours ( EAP- MD5/TLS/TTLS, PEAP, CHAP)
  • Knowledge on Virtualization using VMware and Xen Server, Linux, SAN Technology.
  • Experience in setting up IAS, Steel Belt Radius and Free Radius and troubleshooting, Client -Server issues.
  • Experience in Installing, configuring and managing VMware ESX server.
  • Understanding on SSL/ IPSEc VPN's, PKI architecture, Windows administration with Active Directory and LDAP.
  • MCSE/MCP/CCNA/ Certification will be an added advantage.
Job Profile
  • You must have the efficiency to interface with international customers, provide remote Technical support on implementation of technology using various networking products & applications and resolve product related issues through research and troubleshooting. The following are essential:
  • Should have experience in configuration and troubleshooting high-end networks
  • The ideal candidate will be an Engineer, who is a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Quality focus, result & goal orientation in a group situation, and commitment to customer delight are a must.
  • Sound fundamentals and in-depth knowledge of Networking Security Concepts
  • Should relocate to Chennai & work on 24/7 environment.
